I called in with mum on the spur of the moment for Sunday lunch. On first entering into the bar, I wasn't sure what to expect, it's quite dark inside. We were taken to the dining room, and what a surprise! Twinkly lights, beautiful room throughout. We were lucky to have the carvery, it was delicious, we both thoroughly enjoyed our meal. The staff were friendly and efficient and we will definitely visit again. Thanks

We are regular visitors to Aberdeen for concerts and shows so Inverurie is a great place to stop. This was our 1st visit to The Drouthy Laird after a recommendation and it did not disappoint. From the moment we walked in every member of staff we had dealings with were very professional, polite and welcoming. The decor is lovely, the food was amazing and very reasonably priced. I would highly recommend a visit to The Drouthy Laird.

Very vice restaurant with excellent food and service. There are two dining areas, a smaller one and the one we were in, an open room that could be a multipurpose venue. Overhead miniature string lights make the area feel less open. Wide selection of food choices from risotto to curry, steak and meat pies to fish. Good selection of drinks, appetizers and deserts. My favorite dessert (Eaton Mess). was the fruit and meringue dessert. We were there for a pre wedding dinner and they prepared a beautiful celebratory desserts for the couple.
